To keep a record of hospitality projects completed in previous years, juniors are completing a scrapbook to showcase their work.

“The scrapbook serves the purpose of representing what we have accomplished so far as an entire hospitality class,” Hospitality teacher Mrs. Catherine Viggato said.

In order to complete the book, students who were interested in scrapbooking collaborated in class to assemble the pages.

“I enjoy working on the scrapbook because it gives me flashbacks of the memories we had as a class,” junior Jadylyn DelaCruz said. “It is nice to look back at all the pictures we took throughout last year and the events that were held.”

Moments ranging from the Winter PBL, program-centered events and projects are found in the book.

“As a class, we had multiple projects to complete,” junior Maricelle Barrameda said. “When I started working on the scrapbook it made me think about the events we accomplished.”

The scrapbook will be presented to visitors during open house or to those who visit the classroom.

“If a guest comes in the class and wants to see what we do in hospitality, the scrapbook will reference back to what we do as a class,” Viggato said. “It’s a way to show what hospitality is like without the words.”
