Nevada DECA, FBLA, FCCLA, HOSA and The Nevada Department of Education have partnered together to create the annual Nevada CTSO Leadership Rally. The event will be held on Dec. 7 at the Cashman Center  from 8:15 a.m.- 2:45 p.m.

“Fall Leadership is a great opportunity for student leaders all across the Clark County to experience networking and collaboration,” DECA state officer Cindy Kim said. “I am very excited for this conference because I get the chance to meet advisers and meet new DECA members.”

During the event, members of these organizations have the opportunity to meet their respective state officer team, attend workshops to improve their leadership skills and determine the importance of their roles in their organization.

“As one of the state officers, I wanted to make it somewhat more interesting by preparing team building activities such as campfire songs and incorporating this year’s space theme,” FCCLA state officer Emiliano Torres said. “Our presentation as well as our membership campaign is based off of the space race and hopefully this will engage the members a bit more and get them excited for the rest of the year.”

All members are invited to this event, but club advisers selected the members and officers to attend the event.

“Since this will be my first time at the Fall Leadership Rally, I am excited to see how the whole event will benefit me and expand my skills as a leading member of my group,” HOSA officer Nicholas Tan said.
