The senior class and Student Council members will be discussing the senior song at the upcoming Class of 2013 meeting on Feb. 1.

“We will be discussing graduation songs as well as the plans for reordering the Burger King senior shirts and senior class shirts for students to buy,” Ashley Tolentino, senior class president, said.

The senior class officers have a list of 50-100 songs to condense to the top ten songs. These songs will be voted on by the seniors during mentorship for the official song that will play at the graduation ceremony in June. The Class of 2012’s song was One Republic’s “Good Life” which was voted on by the students as well.

“I love the suggestion of having ‘It’s Time’ by Imagine Dragons as our senior song. The lyrics are a perfect way to say goodbye to the last four years of high school,” Ellaha Koshan said.

What genre do you think would make the best “Senior Song?”
