I hate to inform you, but you seem to have missed the point on why students aren’t doing their work in your article “Online social networking is no excuse.” You say it’s social networking sites like Myspace and Twitter, when the true fact is that students are not motivated to do work when there are better things out there in this world. Why do homework when Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s is on? We have to teach good habits to students so that way we don’t get distracted by the big world around us. Don’t blame Myspace, blame the student for being [unmotivated].
