Filled with energetic vibes and dynamic tunes, One Direction’s “Take Me Home” brought more joy to me than fresh, homemade chocolate chip pancakes. X Factor-UK’s judge Simon Cowell’s proteges, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson, not only captured fan’s hearts during their time competing on the show, but also left an impact that would change music across the world. Lead single “Live While We’re Young” is a positive, upbeat song urging teenagers to have fun before they take on their roles as adults. Unlike the majority of their loud, fast-paced songs in this album, “Little Things” slows it down to provide a message of looking past one’s imperfections and accepting people for who they are. This album encourages people to be happy and enjoy life while they can.
