The album “Trust” by Gold Panda is an electronic arrangement that is full of mellow, monotonous and whimsical sounds. The collection of songs reminds me of the soundtrack of a robotic amusement park ride because of its lively beats and the humorous sound choices. The mounting excitement of listening to the introduction of the track “Trust” starts off electrifying by building up tension and excitement, but then leaves you hanging for a long while. The song gradually comes back to life through the synthetic sounds and lively tempo.

The track “Burnt Out Car In A Forest” continues with the calming combinations, but at a faster tempo. Specifically, the one track that really stood out to me was “Casyam.” The atmosphere of the song is embracing and calm; the general feel to it is relaxing and fluid, as if I were in a dream of constant motion. The monotonous tone and the feelings that come with this album are incredibly satisfying.
