The new app, Infinity Blade, is an action packed mini-game where you control a knight attempting to avenge his father. The player moves through four different levels where he trains to fight the evil ruler and his monstrous minions. Once they pass the first four levels and have found their footing, you advance to face the evil ruler himself.

This game was enjoyable at first, and learning the correct way to fight seemed like a fantastic way to spend my time. Unfortunately, I didn’t like the fact that after all of the training they put you through, you are literally thrown into battle with the evil lord. With no idea what to expect, I quickly perished, and in a matter of seconds, the game restarted itself. I was infinitely ticked. Once more I fought the same monsters, but considering you choose your player’s route, I was able to visit different spots in the game which made playing the same level a bit better. Overall, the game was fun, the first time at least.

Pros:

* the skills you learn are helpful for any war game

*the setting is clear and lifelike

Cons:

*You are thrown into the final battle

*You get no warnings

*The game automatically restarts
