Desk organizing life hacks juliana borruso

As someone with a very messy desk and no idea how to clean it up, I truly needed these life hacks in order to organize my life a little better. Try these in order to make your life easier as well.

Binder Clip Cable Organization

Going into this, I knew about this hack before, but never managed to try it. Essentially, you take a binder clip and clip it to the side of your desk, then put cables through it in order to make cables more organized.

Rate: 8/10. This hack works and is very simple. If you were in desperate need of cable organizing, this is the hack for you.

Washi Tape Cord Labels

For this hack, all you need is some tape, and an unneccessary amount of cables. Basically, you take a piece of tape, label it with what the cord is, and attach it to the cord.

Rate: 10/10. The cables underneath my desk are very disorganized, so when I need to unplug or move something, I usually end up doing the wrong cable. This helped me a lot in realizing what was connected to what and what to disconnect.

Add Storage Baskets to Shelves

This hack helps you store a lot more things in a slightly cleaner looking way, and hide objects.

Rate: 6/10. It's a good idea, and I have a lot of bookshelves near and on my desk. However, reaching into the storage unit or having to pull it out behind my computer is a lot of hassle, so I'm good with just leaving my stuff out, plus it might be easier to find when everything is out too.
