Due to detrimental rainfall on Oct. 16, the annual 2015 Homecoming Flag Football Game has been rescheduled to Oct. 23. To adjust for the length of the football games, the school day will have a modified bell schedule.
“I’m excited for the football game, especially since it’s my last year. Of course I would want to win the game for the PA girls because we haven’t won one in a long time,” senior Aileen Pabaira said. “I just want to play and have fun with my team, whether we win or lose.”
To determine which lunch to attend, students will refer to their 8th period.
“One lunch is always a challenge to provide supervision,” Dean Sherrae Nelson said. “If we can get a schedule that we can keep similar to a regular day with two lunches and have time for the football games, then that’s what we prefer. It’s easier to supervise kids.”
The game will still be played on the field and concessions will be sold by various clubs.
