Originally handed to seniors, iPads were also given to juniors who wanted to trade their iPods for them. The iPads were given to students as an aid to their education.

During today’s mentorship, it was announced that juniors are going to be part of the iPad program at Southwest Career and Technical Academy. Juniors will have the opportunity to trade their iPod touches for iPads. Students are required to pay a small fee of $20 for the insurance coverage. This is an option; students can choose between either the iPod or iPad. iPads will be distributed to juniors at the beginning of February.
