Environmental Club members host first potluck social of the year Event took place on Nov. 18

Environmental Club hosted their first social of the 2015-16 school year on Nov. 18 after school from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the ballroom.

“The best part about any social is the food. We had a lot of pizza and it was delicious,” senior Isabella Delarosa said.

During the event, members dined, listened to music, and prepared for their hot chocolate fundraiser, which will take place some time after the Thanksgiving break.

“I love going to club events where I can socialize with other members in the club. The food was great and I can’t wait for the next one,” senior Isaac Landis said.

Currently, there are 121 official members apart of the club. Their mission is to work together to preserve the environment and bring awareness to the issue.

“We’re always looking to bring awareness to our classmates and improving what we can at our school,” President Michael Medeiros said. “Everything takes time to get started, I just can’t wait to see what we can get done in one year.”
