Grad Night slowly creeping closer

Tommy Ha (‘12) waits for the banker to finalize his Grad Night tickets purchase.

Six Flags Magic Mountain Grad Night tickets have been on sale since the beginning of January. So far, only approximately half of the senior class have purchased or placed a down payment on their ticket. The trip is May 17th.

“I think it is a great price. We will be boarding onto the bus right after school, and staying at the park until lunch the very next day! That means we get to be on rides throughout the night. I think that’s really cool,” Marclem Hernandez, senior, said.

Each bus holds 60 people, and the school only plans on renting a maximum of five buses. These 300 spots are not all for the students; chaperones must also have a spot on the bus.

“I didn’t realize that the down payment deadline was so soon. I need to make my deposit soon. I wouldn’t want to miss this trip because I procrastinated,” senior Sean Nielander said.

The price has been locked at $100, but students may still put a down payment of $20 before March 2. The $100 dollars includes transportation and admission into Six Flags from 9 pm Thursday to 5 am Friday. Remember, this may be the last event for the senior class to attend as a whole. Reserve your spot, and do not miss your chance to attend this once in a lifetime event.
