Semester mid-term exams to be administered beginning Jan. 12 Class schedule has been modified for semester mid-term exam week

Beginning Jan. 12, instructors will be administering semester mid-term exams. Half days will begin on Jan. 13 and will conclude on Jan. 15.

“It’s going to be a stressful week so I hope all my students get enough sleep, review their notes and eat breakfast,” Hospitality and Tourism Program Leader (PL) Mrs. Catherine Viggato said.

7:00 a.m. – 8:40 a.m.: 1st Period Exam

8:50 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.: 3rd Period Exam

7:00 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.: 2nd Period Exam
8:55 a.m. – 10:40 a.m.: 4th Period Exam
7:00 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.: 5th Period Exam
8:55 a.m. – 10:40 a.m.: 7th Period Exam
7:00 a.m.– 8:45 a.m.: 6th Period Exam
8:55 a.m. – 10:40 a.m.: 8th Period Exam

“Lately, I’ve been using a lot of my review guides and notes to study for my exams,” junior Demitri Bannoura said. “I’m really nervous for my physics exam.”

All students will be dismissed at 10:40 a.m. and all buses are scheduled to leave campus at 10:47 a.m.

“I’m excited to start a fresh, new quarter in all of my classes and not stress about semester grades for a while,” junior Samrawit Misiker said.

Additionally, make-up exams will take place from 12 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Students are required to present a note from their teacher in order to take the make-up exam.

“The fact that we have to take exams is almost scary because that means we are halfway done with the school year,” junior Austin Tang said. “Time flies pretty fast.”
