It’s a three day weekend with perfect 80 degree weather, which is pretty rare for Las Vegas. You want to enjoy the weather while it lasts, but you have no idea what activity you could do. Teenagers will tell you to take a hike along the many trails that Red Rock Canyon has to offer, located only 17 miles away from the Strip.

“It’s super cool and fun,” sophomore Rachel Martinez said.

“It’s cool seeing all the different colors of rocks and shades. It’s a fun place for the family,” sophomore Devan Eckersley said.

“It’s very beautiful. I’d definitely go again,” sophomore Ruth Belay said.
