Fall is one of my favorite seasons. Right behind winter. The cooler weather, the comfy sweater clothes, and three biggest holidays back to back all remind me of the fall spirit. Especially the cooler weather, and lovely scents from candles.

During this fall, I have been enjoying the colder weather, and seasonable foods like soup and hot chocolate to get me in the fall mood.

For me getting in the fall mood is hoodies one of my favorite clothing items and because it’s getting to the perfect temperature to wear them it’s amazing. Hoodies are perfect for fall because in the winter you need something a bit more heavy-duty for you to stay warm but in fall you just got to slide into a comfy hoodie.

What helps me get in the fall mood is to start wearing more warm clothes and sleeping.

Sunny days and warm nights get replaced with shorter, cooler days and even cooler nights. Fall is that in-between season where I can still enjoy the outdoors without worrying too much about the heat. It’s also the season that reminds me that change can be good and letting go is a part of life. With each new fall season I am reminded to relax and enjoy this season before one of the busiest times of the year begins… which is Christmas. Although fall has its perks of cooler weather and pumpkin festivities it may be hard for some to get into the actual fall spirit, but for me? I have no trouble at all. I love the pumpkin-flavored drinks and treats that are around this time of year. I even have my spotify playlist of fall/Halloween music to get me into the mood. It is most definitely my favorite time of the year.

The colors that are found in fall are what get me in the fall spirit. It’s mostly the dark orange that gets me really excited but I have to give credit to the other colors. It’s the orange leaves, pumpkins, and clothes. I give my bedroom a mini makeover, so it suits the season. Once I start seeing the colors around, I know it’s time for fall. While there are so many things around that signal fall, the colors are what rely on the most.

The main thing that gets me in the fall spirit is pumpkin spice bagels. I also start to dress in more dull and warm colors.

Fall weather and rainstorms. My two favorite things ever, although the allergies and asthma attacks aren’t so great. I love everything about fall. The colors, the holidays, the comfort in the weather.. I think what gets me most in the mood would be either “gloomy weather” (rain, thunder, cloudy days) or comfy fuzzy pants to sleep peacefully in. What makes fall exciting to me is the decoration aspect of it to prepare for the next holidays like Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas! I don’t do much for Halloween due to religion, but I love seeing peoples costumes and giving sweet treats! My birthday is also in fall, so it seems natural for me to like it. I think that is why i do, it’s very calming.

What gets me in the fall spirit is being in sweater with the fire place lit because its just being to get cold out and a
fire is always something fun to do with family and friends. Going to a fall festivals is always fun and gets you in the fall spirit

What gets fall starting for me is the pumpkin spice and sweaters. It’s the perfect time for hiking, hanging out with friends and just enjoying the outdoors (cause it’s not as hot as the sun.) Going to the pumpkin patch/fall carnivals and picking out costumes is a fall tradition that I enjoy every year.

For me, the wardrobe change signals fall. The boots and scarves, turtlenecks and cardigans dug up from my closet help me get in the autumn mood. More importantly though, going to the park with my younger sister always eases me into the new season. During the summer, it’s FAR too hot to go to the park, sit on the swings, or even just jog. Not only do the swing chains quite literally blister your hands, but the sidewalk and pavement practically melt the soles of your shoes. I find winter to be a bit too cold, especially in January, so fall is the ideal time to go to the park and getting to pick up my roller-blades, take a jog, and go on the swings always reminds me of the changing seasons.
