My favorite Halloween movie is the Nightmare before Christmas. You can fight me, it is a Halloween movie, not a Christmas one.

Although I do not watch horror movies because my household consistently warns me not to, and I am aware I probably would not be able to handle it well; my absolute favorite horror movie I have observed has to be ‘The Shining’, from the way the eerie music accompanies what appears on screen, the psychological horror and events, which includes the iconic ax scene, the phenomenal acting of the characters, both indirect with body language and direct with the projection of the dialogue effectively strikes suspense and tension in the audience, and just the overall story has provided me with great inspiration to create my own stories, which is why It is my favorite horror movie.

The scariest movie I’ve watched recently is the barbarian. I’ve been paranoid ever since. I am never watching a scary movie again. #traumatized!

The scariest movie I have ever seen was probably the first Conjuring. I couldn’t sleep all night long and I just had nightmares. I kept getting jump scared by random shadows in my room 🙂

My favorite scary/Halloween movie is Train to Busan. I like how it has scary parts, but also shows the character’s emotions. I cried so hard at the ending lol.

Personally, my favorite scary movie is Halloween mainly because of how surreal it is it’s in a small neighborhood instead of some camp, and the fact that he just stalks for the first half of the movie and the kills are very creative.
