My family tradition is that every Christmas day before we open anything we go out looking for homeless people and give them blankets.
P.S. there is a T missing in contest in the picture.

One of my favorite family traditions tends to be when we open a present or two before hand on Christmas Eve. Mom would always get pjs for us to wear that night, so then we’d wake up with them on Christmas day. It’s always fun seeing what pair of pjs I got that year. We also would get an ornament that represents something big we did or accomplished that year. Like one for me was my first job, where I got a Taco.
I appreciate getting these small sentimental gifts the night before, then getting the “fun” gifts the next day.

Our family has the usual traditions; gather at the house and hang out with each other. It’s a super fun time where we all get to check up on each other and share a good few laughs. The usual. But my favorite time about that isn’t about the times that we do that, it’s about the time that we didn’t.
Two years ago, COVID-19 was still here, leaving all of us in our houses. So, instead of going to our Aunt’s house, our family decided to take up the challenge of trying to cook the food ourselves. And, being the worst cook of the family, I was tasked with the most basic thing; rice. However, I had always been bad at cooking rice up to that point. It was either too soggy or too dry or not washed enough or washed too much, much to the dismay of my family who had to eat it. But, since there were some family friends coming over to our house (our family trusted them to be safe), I wanted to make sure that they’d get the best Thanksgiving rice possible. So, I went to work; measuring cups, finger tricks, washing technique, the whole works. And when they arrived, I remember that rice turned out like a Goldilocks story: it was just right.
So uh… not exactly a groundbreaking holiday tradition, but nice to share that story.

My favorite Holiday tradition is when me and my family go to Park city to Ski. It is something that I love to do and I want to improve. I am very exited to go this year.

My favorite of my family’s holiday traditions is Christmas dinner. Every year on Christmas Eve, we get chinese takeout, and on Christmas Day, my mother makes baked ziti and meatballs. Definitely something I look forward to each year ?

My family and I always open one gift on Christmas eve to help ease some of our excitement for Christmas day. Then, we open the rest of our presents the next day!

My family tradition is simple but enjoyable every Christmas eve we go to my great aunt’s house to celebrate. During that time me, my sister and my cousin all chose one gift to open beforehand.

One of my favorite holiday traditions is getting my family together every year to make our favorite Thanksgiving dishes. And after cooking and laughing with each other and enjoying each other’s company we sit down and say everything we are grateful for. That is one of my favorite traditions.
