My news years resolution is to work on myself. Now, I know that’s a pretty broad answer, but there’s so many things about myself that I know I can improve on throughout the year. Exercising and keeping a more positive mindset are my main goals for this year!

My new year resolution is dedicated to me not wasting time on my phone and doing almost anything else. I have an animation project that I made for myself that needs to get finished yet my phone has prevented that. I have a love/hate relationship with TikTok! My goal is to spend more time with art rather than my phone!

My new year’s resolution is to show kindness and respect to those around me. Even if it’s just for a little joke, I want to avoid making snide comments or say something disrespectful. I also want to be more understanding of others’ experiences and circumstances, even if I haven’t had the same experience.

My New Year’s Revolution is to try and limit my procrastination. I have a bad habit of leaving things to the last minute and it has hurt me in many parts of my life. I want to try and limit it so that I can be more active and present in my life.

My New Year’s Resolution is stay organized. Last year everything was very unorganized for me and I found myself constantly losing motivation in the things I love and I think staying organized can help me get back on the path to do some of the things I love.

My New years resolution is to get over my laziness. It has put me back in a lot of things so I just need to work on that.

Throughout the last year, I would often look too far into the future. I would always complain, “Oh what happens if this happens? Oh what if this happens? What would I do?” It became a really bad habit that almost destroyed a relationship that I had. I had become so worried and stressed about the future that I had completely forgotten the present. I had forgotten what was truly important, my relationships and my present time now. One day when I went to Panda Express with my girlfriend. I opened a fortune cookie and it told me, “Focus more on the present than your future. Relish the time you have now.” I thought it was a coincidence, but maybe it really isn’t. I now have that fortune cookie note stuck to the back of my phone. I’m going to take steps to be the better version of myself. I will focus on the now and what really is important to me. After all, there won’t be a future for me if I don’t set it up in the present.

My New Year’s resolution is to stay focused. This year I want to get less distracted when it comes to things like school work/ anything I need to get done. It’s really easy to get off-task and this year I plan to pay more attention and keep my priorities in check.

My New Year’s Resolution is to stress less. I have a problem keeping myself calm at times when I’m overwhelmed with schoolwork and all the drama that goes around. I plan to reduce my stress and anxiety by prioritizing the hobbies, habits, and people who make me happy, practice gratitude, even for the smallest things, start a meditation practice, try a weekly social media detox and schedule time to do something fun “just because” every day.
