i think that a successful school is a school that feels safe not just for the students but for the teachers and the parents. cause if the parents don’t feel you bet they are not letting their child go there

Personally, I think a successful school is one that has a feeling of community. Clubs, extra-curricular activities, and school events are ways that schools can allow students to interact not just during school hours. When everyone at school feels included, students not only feel welcome, but enjoy coming to school. Clubs are a great way to build smaller communities within school where students of similar interests can get to know each other and interact on a regular basis. Teachers, staff, and students all have a role in creating a welcoming and friendly school community and educational environment.

I think what makes a school successful is caring for the students. A student’s mental state is just as important as academic achievements, if not more. When students’ mental health is encouraged, they will succeed at other things. This will greatly improve any school. This would also make school a more comfortable environment for all.

When it comes to successful schools, I believe that there should be a focus on three factors. Friendly teachers and staff, a variety of classes, and after-school clubs. These three things can make the school experience better ten fold. By allowing students to partake in classes that they want with teachers that make the classes feel like students want to be there. Students can almost always share a story of a class they dreaded due to the teacher. It will make the learning process smooth and easy for students and teachers. On top of friendly classes, after-school clubs allow students to connect with one another over hobbies and other, sometimes academic, events. In my opinion it is these three things that can make or break a school.

A successful school, in my opinion, is one that engages and excites its students to learn. I feel a lot of students are lacking in school spirit, the reason is most likely because of the lack of after school activities and strict rules. Although, it’s understandable that some events are rejected by admin for safety reasons, it does disappoint a lot of students to see their zoned schools doing what they can’t. Not many students know about all the clubs there are, and not many join because they’re more focused on sports instead of personal interest clubs (DnD, Fashion, Art, etc). Maybe if the announcements gave more commercials and advertised more it’d bring up school morale !

In my opinion a successful school cares about their students and the education these students are getting, I believe they should fulfill our needs and assist us with any problems we have, while having a learning environment that students feel safe and comfortable in. Another thing a successful school should have is leadership, its important we have someone we could look up to and follow for the right path for our future. After being in Southwest for a little over a year, I can tell its a very successful school and I look forward to the rest of my high school years here.

What makes a successful school is a school to which the population have a common mientality towards the well-being of each other. With the staff having such consideration to the students, and same from the students to the staff, an atmosphere filled of respect would be ensured, allowing for all to feel free in self expression. This self expression provides comfort and a more harmonious population, allowing each person and student to excell to their best capability. Additionally, a successful school creates a safe environment where the students can feel at ease. With such ease and peace of mind, students and staff are able to do their best without the fear of ambitions holding them back from a dangerous environment. Southwedt CTA has done an excellent job upholding these standards, even with the trials encountered through the pandemic. This year, already given a start where we feel more comfortable in, Southwest will feel more welcoming and safe, where everyone can excell and continuing the makeup of a successful school.

What I think makes a successful school is supportive administration. A group of those who actually help solve the problems for their students and create a healthy stress free learning environment. As well as a good way to advertise things such as events and schedules, clubs, meetings, etc. Good teachers and safe and healthy learning environments are of course a great characteristic of a successful school

A successful school is a school that has students comfortable with their teachers and peers. Being able to seek help and guidance is extremely important. Some students may not have the same experience or knowledge with certain topics and seeking help from teachers, peers, or counselors is extremely helpful. I believe it also comes down to the environment that the school has created. A positive environment will definitely help it succeed. We also have to keep in mind that reaching success is a journey and a learning experience. It may take a while to reach that goal but it is attainable!

What I think makes a successful school is the amount of programs there are, including every student in their favorite activities. Students with their favorite elective or program area are more likely to succeed, creating a good attitude atmosphere with the student and the teacher. Parents at home will help their students progress more because their environment is joyful as well. This atmosphere creates a successful school where every student will succeed at their specialty. Getting everybody involved is just the start to a successful school like SWCTA.

I think a successful school has a way of teaching students in all kinds of methods. Some children are auditory, physical, literacy, and much more. I think having different ways of learning would make a classroom more successful so students can learn in a way more suited toward them.

I believe that a successful school should be defined as a school with caring and thoughtful teachers and staff members, considerate and respectful students, organized and thorough curriculum.
In a successful school, students should be excited to learn by paying attention and submitting assignments on time.
A successful school should excel at managing schedules, clubs, tutoring, and other after-school activities. Successful schools should also provide students with healthy, nutritional school lunches. Schools should not overwork students or teachers to the point where it causes harm to their social life.

I think a successful school means having happy kids, a positive environment, and teachers that want the best for us and that want to help us. I think SWCTA does a great job of that and I know that I’m only a freshman but I am exited for the years to come.

A successful school is when the school has a sense of community. School should have a common thing all the students relate to or know. A successful school also knows how to balance work and fun for the students. This way they don’t get burnout and are able to push forward in their classes.

I believe that hard work, dedication, and school spirit makes a successful school. Getting students and teachers involved in activities that boost spirits and engagement is a helpful way of reaching that goal of having a successful school. Though our school does not have sports there are many ways we make up for that. Such as after school activities, fundraisers, and much more. With everyone back on campus it is a big change from being online or at school with masks the last almost two years. But if everyone pitches in to do something for the school or even just a classmate or teacher our school can easily become a successful, thriving school.

I think the main component of making a school successful is the environment. I say this because by having a safe, accepting, and fun environment people are then more inclined to be their authentic selves. Then by giving students and teachers the ability to be themselves you will then most likely see an increase in morality and attendance. Though this can go both ways. By coming from a school that didn’t have the best environment I can say that most kids and teachers didn’t even show up or the few that did, didn’t want to be there or didn’t care about learning or teaching. This is why I say the environment is one of the main things that can make a successful school.

I think one major part of making and keeping a school successful is making sure faculty moral is high. As if a teacher dislikes their job, they are often to place that on the students. Which also brings down the students mental wellbeing. The opposite is also true, keeping student moral high makes the job much less stressful on the teachers, which should have the same effect.

What makes a successful school is people showing up, being on time, doing their work and turning in their work, being respectful to others, and keeping our school a safe and clean environment.

I think something that would make SWCTA more successful would having more activities in class that involve everyone and get people to know each other so that we know our peers better. I also feel we should respect and care for oir teachers more. Having more days that are appreciating them.

Something that I believe makes a school successful is building a sense of community. Being proud and happy that you belong here and being there for everyone else, communicating with others to better yourself. This year is already miles ahead of the last considering that we can start off early by making friends in person getting to know them and forming relationships. That is what I think makes a school successful.

Being kind to one another and being respectful of peoples choices can help make a successful school. The people at SWCTA certainly help to create a more healthy environment and that includes students and staff. So as long as we keep it up I think we can have a successful school.

I think a successful school comes from a respectful relationship between both students and teachers. Safety within the school is a very important aspect to a successful education system. In addition, successful stuco equals a successful school.

I think something that would make the school more successful is involving kids in more activities in the classroom and outside the classroom. Having more hands on activities in the classroom will help students get more involved in their learning. Considering SWCTA doesn’t have sports, having more outside activities could be a replacement. Students could go play at their zoned school but it’s not the same as playing at your own school. That’s why I think outside activities could be a good idea.

In my opinion, a successful school not only cares for students and families. But teachers and faculty too. If teachers have time to enjoy their personal lives and just be happy overall, students will be happy too! A successful school is also understanding of their students and will let them express their individuality, if a student is happy with their school, they will work harder. Lastly, something that makes a successful school is being able to touch on all the main learning styles, it helps all students learn and help teachers gain an understanding of how their students learn better. From what I’ve seen, Southwest is a successful school and I am looking forward to this school year!

I think what makes a successful school is being united and creating goals for the school year, which we want to see be made of our school. I would like to add that what makes a successful school is being more organized & determined. We should all contribute our wonderful personalities and collaboration skills. We should also try to use every resource, and any type of aid we can get.
