A major goal I have right now is to not even think about procrastinating. I think if I keep that mindset going on I will have good grades. Another goal is to try my absolute best. If I give it my all this ties back into what I said, I will have good grades. Seeing that I have good grades is mentally pleasing.

A main goal of mine is to successfully execute at least 1-2 performances with Studio K K-Pop. It’s reaching around 2 years since K-Pop has performed at school. Now being the President, I have to make sure that I will uphold the quality of performances that our team has had since the beginning.

The new school year always brings with it plenty of new challenges. And just like 2020, the year 2021 continues to bring challenges we have never before experienced. There are still many unknowns this year that can lead to a new source of stress altogether. start-the-new-school-year-right-young-adults-outside-talking-about-the-best-school-year-ever If you are going to in-person classes, you may be concerned you will be sent home soon with the outbreak of the new Delta variant of Covid-19 cases increasing. Perhaps you are worried about getting sick, or wearing a mask, or the potential of having to switch to online classes. For those starting out online, you have the stress of being home all day, managing a different kind of workload and a different kind of learning, and of not being able to have the social aspect of school. Regardless of your circumstances, these 5 Goals for the school year still apply today. They just may need to be adapted some for your current situation. It is still important to take your education seriously, manage your workload, work on finding your interests and making friends perhaps just remotely.Obviously, you recognize it as a potential problem. So what are some ways you can avoid slacking off, and help make this the best school year ever? First, it is important to shift any negative perceptions you have about school and try to appreciate it. I know that may seem hard, but an education is a privilege and learning new things can be fun. Taking your studies seriously WILL prepare you for a bright future.
5 Goals for a Successful School Year
1. Go to class every day and take it seriously.
2. Do your homework
3. Ask Questions
4. Explore and try new things
5. Make a commitment to reach out to others
You Can Do This! Commit to these goals because how this school year goes academically is really up to how much time and effort you put in. Believe in yourself. You can do this! And as you meet some of your realistic goals for each class you will get a lot of personal satisfaction.
