Collaborating with her group, freshman Juliana Aviles relays information of the Elizabethan era onto the poster. Students were tasked to do research and find information and showcase it in their designs that will be shown to the rest of the class. “We’re working on William Shakespeare and ‘Romeo and Juliet,’ so we were researching about the Elizabethan era,” Aviles said. “I like this topic because I’m a bit of a history nerd, and it was nice to shine upon how different things were back then.”

By increasing the string length, the tension is increased as well as the risk of the cup’s water falling out. “We have all these components and it’s really important [to get them right] because it can risk people lives,” Estrellas said. “They can risk your own life.
