Looking up at the screen, sophomores Joy Park and Angel Yerdaw watch the daily announcements. The first episode of the student mystery series was introduced this week. “I think it’s a cool addition to the daily announcements,” Park said. “I usually don’t pay attention to the announcements, but with the new things added I’ve been more engaged in a way to watch it.”

With larger class sizes, Video Production has been able to revamp morning announcements, adding segments created by students.

After signing up to volunteer to make posters, senior Janna Bouffard sketches out a design which will later be painted and hung in the hallway to promote Movie Night. Student Council began selling tickets for $5 starting September 17th and will stop on September 27th in the cafeteria. “I’m glad I got the opportunity to help,” Bouffard said. “They should get more recognition on the posters because they often tend to be overlooked in the hallways.”
