Students work through the initial steps of their first project of the year

After pinning, sophomore Celine De Leon cuts out the pieces of fabric and carefully aligns the pattern. “The only struggle with this step is actually trying to cut it out correctly,” Del Leon said. “Even if you cut just an eighth of an inch off, that’s an eighth of an inch over the enter garment, it adds up. We all need to pay attention and be accurate to get it done right.”
