My all time favorite age appropriate film has to be Moxie, I say this is my favorite because the movie revolves around a girl who discovers Riot grrrls and makes a movement in school to help the girls in her school stand up to the double standards that have been placed on them in school. I’ve been a Riot grrrl for a couple of years now and I love seeing new ideas and how many teens choose take their stance to stand against sexist things especially in an environment they are in 24/7, just like school. I love seeing how they take their stances and how they made other girls take their own stances to fight against all the injustices many girls face in school that many staff and alumni put off because they’re to afraid to speak or because many are afraid to stand up to make the change and also the number leading factor the staff, many staff members always tell us girls that we are in the wrong when many male students harass us or even some of the double standards put against us girls, such as how many staff will dress code a girl because her body is totally different from the other girls when clearly the other girls shows way more in her choice in clothing, even don’t get me started how boys are basically allowed to wear a tank top and many of us girls are not why is that? This movie talked about such an important topic that happens in schools all around that world that many are afraid to speak up about, Moxie gave the girls a voice which is what is important. Moxie is a great coming of age movie I encourage all grrrl to watch it. This movie is an all time great movie for many young women in high school and as I like to say it’s time to riot grrrls.

My favorite movie is Spirited Away. I love the characters and story that came with its own unique world. It felt like going through a journey I wanted to never see the end of. and when It did I was satisfied with the time I spent and the fairly clean animation that came with it. The soft piano themes and adventure I experienced was something I would love to rewatch this year.

My favorite movies to binge are the Marvel movies. I can never get tired of them because there’s always something happening. I think they’re a really good movie series to watch since they can bring a lot of different emotions out. These movies are age appropriate as well since they are rated PG-13.
