LIFEHACK: CHROMEBOOK EDITION by: Emmanuel Miranda

Need some tips on how to better manage your Chromebook? Here are some ways that will help you better navigate and use your Chromebook with ease.

1. NAVIGATING THROUGH YOUR DIFFERENT APP WINDOWS

The first way to navigate through your different windows is by pressing the "Switch Windows" button, the key with a rectangle and two lines on its right. The second way is to use three fingers to swipe up on your Chromebook's touchpad. When done correctly you should see every single app window that you have open.

Rating: 9/10. Both methods work, although, the second method shown was my favorite. Whenever you're typing or doing anything and need to switch to different apps fast, it feels easier to just swipe up using three fingers rather than trying to find the "Switch Windows" button.

2. PUTTING IMPORTANT APPS IN ONE EASY PLACE

This hack is really simple to follow and it will make finding your favorite apps so much easier. Open up your app library by pressing the "Search" button on your keyboard, the key with a magnifying glass on the left, and then find one of your favorite apps and left-click one of them, then click the prompt "Pin to Taskbar." Then the app will appear on the bottom of your screen waiting for you to use them.

Rate: 10/10. This really helps when you have multiple apps that you use every single day. It puts all those apps all in one place at the bottom of your screen making it easy to access.

3. TAKING SCREENSHOTS ON YOUR CHROMEBOOK

If you ever had to take a screenshot of anything on your Chromebook then this hack will definitely help you out. Press the Ctrl button as well as the "Switch Windows" button. Once you press these buttons your Chromebook will automatically take a screenshot of everything on your screen.

Rate: 10/10. This hack is very helpful whenever you need to capture something on your screen.
