Jam Club, F104, every Tuesday

Members will be practicing the songs they’ve been working on at home.

“For this upcoming meeting, we will be playing ‘Everlong’ by the Foo Fighters and ‘Back In The U.S.S.R’ by The Beatles,” President Eyobel Tecle said. “Each member was responsible for practicing and mastering their part at home before the meeting.”

The club will be working on a plan for their next performance.

“At the moment, we’re planning songs and choosing members for Coyote Coachella,” Tecle said. “Something I would love to do with this club is busking or playing gigs outside of school.”

Crochet Club, C126, every Thursday

As a new club, members are settling in and continuing to learn more about crocheting.

“We are going to review basics for our beginners and our intermediates will continue with the projects that they’ve been working on,” President Adrianna Boyd said.

Members will have the choice as to what they’ll create.

“We aren’t doing much now, since it’s not a mandatory meeting,” Boyd said. “The next mandatory meeting that we have, we will do a vote to decide our new project.”

National Honor Society, Cafeteria, first and third Wednesday

Members will be continuing their tradition of teacher appreciation during the Valentine’s season.

“We will be doing our annual ‘Teacher Valentine’s’ to celebrate the month of February and to honor our teachers here on campus.” President Gia Choong said.

There will be an opportunity for students to be creative with their gifts.

“We’re designing creative cards to show appreciation and those will then be attached to boxes of chocolate,” Choong said.
