On Oct. 5, flag football practice will begin for students interested in representing their academy in a school assembly to celebrate the Forthcoming Week. Two games will be played. One game will feature professional girls vs. design girls and the other game will feature professional boys vs. design boys.
Mr. Angelo Pappano and Mr. Joshua Locklear will coach the D.A. teams, and Mr. Adam Cegavske and Mr. Jeffery Ball will coach for P.A.
“Student council holds the flag football game every year before homecoming because it is a great way to show the competitive side of students,” says Student Body Treasurer Kristelle Dealca.
Students must complete an insurance waiver available in the partnership office or room D105 if they would like to participate. The forms are due by Monday, Oct. 3.
“I am thinking of participating in flag football because it seems like a great way to show some school spirit, and it is time for P.A. to win against D.A.!” adds junior Sabine Bacha.
The flag football game will be held on Oct. 15 during the Forthcoming assembly. The school day will be modified so all students will be able to watch the game.
