"The worst movie I’ve ever seen was Napoleon," Dylan Chhorn ('24) said. "Despite it being a historical representation of the real-life Napolean’s life and covering his feats in battle. I felt that the movie was lacking in war scenes and often times filled the movie with unnecessary events that did not really serve much point for the plot. Although, I do admit that there were some interesting scenes in the movie that I felt invested in, the movie was still extremely dull in my opinion and progressively stopped making sense over time because of that."

"One thing that sets me apart differently from everyone else would be my cooking," Natasha Pisitaro ('24) said. "I love cooking different types of food, especially simple Asian foods like Japanese onigiri and Thai spring rolls. Although I enjoy the cooking process itself and tasting my own meals, the best part about it all is spending time with my mom. We both love cooking and it is something we can share together."

"My favorite vacation is probably my trip to the Philippines last summer," Jasmin Wenger ('24) said. "It was my first time going, so I got to try a variety of new foods, visit different beaches, and do a multitude of activities like parasailing, going on a banana boat and meeting my family!"

"My favorite moment from a concert I have been to is when I met my favorite group face-to-face in April of last year," Mia Mendez ('27) said. "The reason is how much they inspire me and shape me as a person since I have listened to that group since their 1st album came out. It felt so unreal when I saw them so close and was able to share how much I love their music individually to each member. It is a moment I will never forget ."

“My favorite flowers are definitely tulips,” Katrina Parco (‘24) said. “They’re spring flowers, which is one of my favorite seasons. Also, they’re really colorful and visually appealing to look at. I’d love to be able to grow my own tulips and decorate my house with them in the future.”

“Being a senior is honestly something I didn’t think I’d enjoy, but to my surprise, it’s amazing,” Owen Sherrick (‘24) said. “The best part about it is enjoying the time I have with my friends. This only happens once in life, and it’s a beautiful experience. I truly don’t know what the future holds for me, which I why this time in my life is one I will forever remember."

“In my life, I think the thing that would hold most value to me would be my love for my bunny,” Anganell Johnson (‘25) said. “I love my family and friends, but nothing compared to the help he’s given me. He doesn’t talk or anything. He just listens and comforts me. I love to come home every day to cuddle him and spend time with him.”

"I like the song Dark Red by Steve Lacy," Zoe Garcia ('26) said. "It's just such a good song. The lyrics speak so well, and I really love the rhythm of it."

“For spring break, I went to Italy and England, and it was so fun," Libby Newbry ('24) said. “ I love history, so getting to walk around Rome and seeing some of the oldest buildings in the world was so cool! The coliseum was magnificent and such a wonder to see. It is insane to me that it was built almost 2,000 years ago. The other part of the trip that was memorable to me was getting to visit the Harry Potter sound stages where they kept a lot of sets from the movies, I am kind of a Harry Potter nerd so I loved every second of being there! I got to see several original sets like the Gryffindor common room and so much more. It was a trip I will never forget!”

I heard from somewhere that SWCTA had an animation class as part of their program, so I applied to the school and got more into drawing and animation once I got in."

"It was something so small, but that really impacted me because my smile is one of my bigger insecurities. "Something that instantly makes my day better are my friends," Elise Chan ('25) said. " I could be having the worst day ever, and being around them would cheer me up. They always know how to make me feel better and smile."
