Drowning in Drama

The average person is more likely to know the drama about an online dating show, than the names of their current government officials. If people do not start caring about reality, consequences will forever affect us.
In the last seconds of a 1998 regular season game, quarterback Vinny Testaverde ran to the endzone on a 4th down play. The play ended in Testaverde being inches from the goalline without crossing. However, in a strange turn of events the the play was declared a touchdown, despite the ball never crossing into the endzone.

While some claim that America is being turned into a “gerontocracy,” or rule by the old, fewer can explain why this is an inherently negative development for our country.
