Following Digital Game Design teacher Ronald Barrancos rules, junior Kevin Fernandez places his phone into a pocket before class starts. Each class  has different rules on monitoring phone usage. “Sometimes it can be a distraction so I think it’s reasonable to have them away during instruction,” Fernandez said. “But I personally think it should be okay to use them during independent time since it can help students concentrate and feel comfortable in class.”

I probably wouldn’t because it’s like a $7 pizza, sophomore Connor Wiggins said. But I could go to Costco and get a pizza slice for $1.60 and it comes with a soda. So theres a brand attraction to it, theres this rapper and people will buy his pizza. I wouldn’t see the justification in spending an extra $6 or something that just has someone else’s name on it.
