I had to step down from a leadership role in a club to concentrate on my academics. It was difficult, but I realized I needed to focus on my schoolwork more than extracurricular activities. It benefited me in the long run because I could get my grades up and I was still allowed to resume my position in the club after I worked on school stuff.

I’ve let go of spreading hate. Having granted access to the internet early, I used to post hateful comments on social media. I’ve realized my mistakes, and I know I’ve grown to be a better person. Now, I never post hateful comments.

Something that I have let go is dwelling in the past. I used to think about my past mistakes a lot and now I have grown to focus on how I can live for a better future.
