During the first week of school, students in COM101 participated in the marshmallow challenge. The first five minutes of the activity required students to stay silent. “We tried communicating with the good old paper and pencil and some hand gestures,” senior Vanessa Thou said. “We had two different pieces of paper, one to actually talk with, and another to design and share plans.
