"I'm watching it with my sister," sophomore Marleena Tabayan said. "I've never seen the Broadway version, but I grew up with the soundtrack. I have memories of her singing it out randomly so I love that we're watching it together."

“Living Rhythms” performer Greg Ince leads his fellow drummer Dakarai Ince through the Kuku rhythm. This popular rhythm was played at a fast tempo. “I found the music to be loud and powerful,” junior Ryan Cruz said, “It was really interesting seeing how they displayed their ability to show their culture through dramatic movements and sounds.”

Students exchange compliments with their peers while giving out yarn from their ‘warm fuzzies.’ This event created moments of kindness that will be remembered after the activity ends. “Warm fuzzies are something people can wear around their neck on Valentine's day,” Senior Class Secretary Alexis Taing said. “You can give out words of affirmation, like saying, ‘Hey! You have a nice outfit today.”

"Personally I'm going to get really bored, but I don't see myself switching to a different app," junior Laila Rogers said. "I've been thinking I've needed a break from TikTok for a while now, so this is really just an excuse for me to take that break. It'll probably be really good for me."

They have some big moments behind them.” senior Anagell Johnson said. “I personally haven’t listened to Brat, but I know of it, like everything is lime green on Instagram and there’s even a dress to impress update just for it, if I had to choose between them it would probably be Charli XCX.”

"Yeah, I was following the elections really closely," junior KJ Palacios said. "With the results, I think we failed our own citizens. I can't believe so many people acknowledge the person that Trump is and still voted for him regardless. He's pretty much against me as a person, and it affects most of my friends. We're immigrants, we're part of the LGBTQ+ community. I think our near future is going to be terrible."

"All my students are telling me that it's worth listening to and I'm a stan of Tyler so I am ready," English teacher Maritza De La Fuente said. "I have pretty high expectations especially because it's been a while since his last album."

"Me and my friend group are doing a group costume inspired by Scooby-Doo," senior Alyssa Ramirez said. "I decided to dress up as Shaggy because he's goofy and lazy and I just really resonate with him."
