FCCLA hosts their first meeting after competing in their State Leadership Conference.
“We will host a recap session of our latest state competition,” Vice President Emily Merlo Manzanarez said. “During this time, attendees and members will be able to reflect on their hard work this past year.”
Members can look forward to the opportunity to become a board member in the club’s upcoming meetings.
“Our last few meetings will be focused on elections,” Manzanarez said. “We will be discussing the available positions for next year’s board and the process for elections. A select few members in fashion construction will also begin to prepare for nationals in Florida in early July.”

As the year comes to a close, TSA hosts their final meeting of the year.
“We will be recognizing our wonderful members and commemorating another year of TSA,” VP of Media Zoie Lam said. “We’re hosting an ‘award show’ styled ceremony to recognize outstanding members and induct next year’s board members.”
The board hopes to convey their appreciation to their members through this meeting.
“We are thankful to everyone who chose to spend their time with TSA this year as none of our achievements would have ever been possible without them,” Lam said. “We hope that by celebrating our bond, they’ll return next year and do even greater things with the new board.”

The club members will be participating in an activity debunking weather misconceptions and myths.
“We’re going to assign different people myths that they’ll have to defend, and we’ll crown a winner at the end,” Radar Technician Ava Nave said. “I hope that our members are able to point out and debunk weather myths that family or friends might believe in. I think it would be super funny and annoying for our members to correct any myths they hear after the meeting.”
In preparation for the end of the school year, the club plans to host a celebration.
“We’re planning on hosting an end-of-year send off and feast for the seniors in our club,” Nave said. “We also want to introduce the members who are staying to board positions and our plans for the 2025-26 school year.”

Looking forward to Coyote Coachella, the club will be hosting a booth at the event selling friendship bracelets.
“The meeting will just be us listening to music and having a good time while making the bracelets,” President Gurnoor Kaur Gill said. “If new people come during the meeting, I hope they feel welcomed and at ease to join in with us.”
In addition to the bracelets, the club will also be selling various food items.
“Our club will be participating in Coyote Coachella,” Kaur Gill said. “We’re planning to sell mango lassi and different types of cupcakes if we get approved, so people can hopefully look forward to that.”
