Key Club is hosting an additional meeting on September 30, where they will be practicing cheers for the yearly cheer competition that will take place at the Key Club Regional Training Conference (RTC).
“We will be splitting into groups and coaching our members to make sure they’re as prepared as they can be for RTC on October 28th,” Vice President Aldrich Razon said.
General members can look forward to various service activities taking place in future meetings.
“We have plenty of activities that offer a way for members to earn volunteer hours,” Razon said. “Members are required to earn 50 hours to attend our awards ceremony at the end of the year.”

Psychology Club prepares to discuss how different colors can affect mood and the human brain.
“We’re very excited to be discussing color therapy,” Psychology Club President Achilles Caranto said. “When we do these meetings, we tend to focus mainly on colors and how they affect the brain. We’ve used fun activities like coloring that pair well with what we’re discussing.”
Members can expect to participate in a coloring activity to get hands-on experience in understanding what they’ve learned.
“We feel like our members will really have fun this meeting. As much as we want them to learn, we also want them to enjoy what we discuss and have a good time,” Caranto said.

Planning to strengthen the core ideas of National Honor Society (NHS), members of the club will be debating ethical and moral hypotheticals.
“We want to challenge students to be able to explain their reasoning in a debate,” NHS President Michael Haley said. “Then we’re going to randomly call on different tables to explain the reasoning behind their choice.”
Members can look forward to participating in activities to earning service hours and the potential appearance of guest speakers.
“We’re gonna be having some more volunteer meetings, just so that some students can get some volunteer hours in,” Haley said. “We will also try to squeeze in some guest speakers for future meetings. We don’t know exactly who, but that’s just something we have planned for the future.”
