Talent Club starts practicing skills

Talent Club has begun for the 2011-2012 school year. This club is a place for students to represent their talents and sharpen up their skills.

“As president, I want to improve from last year. As we plan on getting a sound system, I’m sure that will blow our audience away. Our outcome for members has increased from last year. I’m glad everyone is either going to showcase a talent or just support,” says junior Jonathyn Major.

With plans for the upcoming Talent Show in December, and a talent competition in March, each member is already practicing what they are going to showcase. To join Talent Club, you must pay a $5 fee; this will pay for decorations, a sound system, t-shirts, hoodies, and possibly field trips.

“I’m sure this year we’ll have an even better Talent Show and I’m really excited for the Talent competition. We have more members this year, and it will be rough, just got to keep practicing,” says sophomore Ira Nocom.

Talent Club meets every Tuesday in room C220. If you have any other questions, comments, or concerns, you can contact Ms. Krista Boivie via email, [email protected].
