Students discussed multiple topics, as they tried to answer relevant questions in politics.
Working together to color code their electrical wire diagram, seniors Joshua Yero and Abigail Battaglia differentiate which wires connect to each other. They are starting with hands-on wiring of the vehicle.
While locating and identifying all of the controls on the shop’s rotary cutting machine, junior Jacob Bogel builds the skills necessary for his end of program exam. With the upcoming test, he found the hands-on form of studying to be the most beneficial. “When I can see and touch the parts of a system that I am learning about, the concepts stick way better in my head,” Bogel said. “I enjoy working in the shop the most and I think it has prepared me the best for our end of program test.”

Student Council members Rianna Rivera and Akela Renee Custodio paint posters to display in the hallways to promote the King or Queen of Hearts. By raising awareness around campus, Student Council hopes to encourage donations for their fundraiser. “Since we’re in a pandemic, it’s another way to raise money and help people in need,” sophomore Rianna Rivera said. “This reminds me of when I did NJHS in middle school, so it’s fun making posters again and there’s more colors and a variety of brushes than middle school.”

Interior Design III students have been planning and building their wooden houses for a little over two months.
