HOSA will be collaborating with Action4Anxiety, who will be presenting during the meeting.
“We’re collaborating with a group called Action4Anxiety,” President-Elect Riana Morales Imura said. “It’s a community awareness project and they’re going to be presenting about generalized anxiety disorders.”
Action4Anxiety is a group of West Tech students, focused on spreading awareness through posts on social media.
“The group aims to promote awareness about generalized anxiety disorders,” Imura said. “They come from West Tech and post different facts about anxiety disorders, such as how you can cope with anxiety and other things of that matter.”
Jam Club, Wednesdays

Members will prepare to perform at lunch, with plans to have monthly performances.
“Jam Club will be preparing for our next lunch performance,” President Oliver Rondez said. “We plan to do one at the end of every month.”
Jam Club members are practicing songs requested by previous audience members, by bands such as Deftones and Nirvana.
“We’re practicing five songs total,” Rondez said. “They were requested by people who watched us previously, such as Be Quiet and Drive, Root, and In Bloom.”

The club will be having their last meeting of the year, making thank you cards for Teacher Appreciation Week.
“Next meeting is our very last one of the year,” President Ella Abilar said. “It’s going to be pretty chill, but still fun and engaging. We are going to make thank you cards for teacher appreciation week and have the board hand them out afterwards, to celebrate our hardworking staff.”
In addition to making cards, the board will also be reviewing their upcoming induction ceremony for the members.
“We are also going over our upcoming induction ceremony,” Abilar said. “We want to show some gratitude and celebrate our members who fulfilled their 50 hours worth of service.”
