Drama Club, 1st and 3rd Tuesdays
Adviser: Maritza De La Fuente
Room: C124
Members will be completing their designated tasks for the upcoming play to be held in April.
“Everybody has their own jobs to do,” President Tiffany Tan said. “The prop designers are making all the props for the play. The set designers are drafting up what the scenery looks like. The actors are practicing. It really just depends on what jobs everybody was assigned.”
Despite a few setbacks, Tan is hopeful for the show to thrive.
“We’ve had a few people drop out at short notice, so we have to work extra hard to make up for that,” Tan said. “We started the process of recasting people, as well as creating a new schedule so we can have extra time to prepare. It was hard, but I feel like we’re already back on track.”
The Meteorology Association, 1st and 3rd Wednesdays
Adviser: Benjamin Lacombe
Room: H211
The board will be hosting a terrarium building activity.
“Although we are meteorologists, we also do a lot of environmental based activities,” Financial Weatherkeeper Max Aller said. “Our members really enjoy doing these kinds of activities, and since it’s our first meeting of the year, it’ll be nice to have everyone get together again and participate.”
The board also has plans to work on their gardening projects.
“We’ve had some success with the hydroponic gardens both at school and with our collaboration with the Windmill Library,” Aller said. “We’ve grown a lot of herbs, like basil and (something). We do need to start working on the physical gardens again as we haven’t had the same level of success with those.”
Estudiantes Unidos, 1st and 3rd Thursdays
Adviser: Jennifer Gonzalez
Room: E128
Estudiantes Unidos will be setting up elections.
“Since most of the board members are seniors, we’ll all be gone next year,” President Alyssa Ramirez said. “We’re opening up elections to the general members so they can be on board and take care of the club next year.”
Ramirez has hope for the next upcoming term.
“The passion that runs within the club is very deep due to our culture,” Ramirez said. “I feel excited to pass on the legacy unto the upcoming board members.”
