Juniors and seniors in AP Biology made their own enzyme labs.
Junior Emily Giblin inserts a suctioning tube in the mannequin patient’s mouth. GIblin had to confirm with Respiratory Science teacher Vicki Smith that she was correctly helping the patient. “I have practiced suctioning, charting, and the basics of tracheotomy care many times,” Giblin said. “Now I feel I have it seared in my head.”
