Students collected their beans, weighed them and learned important concepts. “We’re finding out the mass of the bans themselves, it’s simple,” Qualls said. “But it was pretty interesting and it provided perspective on electron configurations.”

Attacks in August have highlighted the aggressive behavior on CCSD school buses, yet the discussion on how to stop this behavior has not ended.
The new teachers of the school help their students with their class assignments. Even with a national teacher shortage, new teachers started on campus this past August. “I started teaching because I want to at least have a small impact on students and help them achieve what they want,” English 11/12 teacher Jacob Hill said. “I think without education it's possible, but it’s challenging to achieve your goals.”

Practicing her bass, Poselero finds a new bass line for her band’s new original song. Writing her own content has always been a great way to express her, and her band’s creativity. “It's really cool to see when I’m on stage and how people are taken aback because of my height,” Poselero said. “People don’t expect this tiny, little lady to be screaming her lungs out. My energy is completely different than if I were to just be talking to someone, and I fell in love with what that felt like.”
