Acquiring flowers from social worker Joselyn Kim, freshman Tristan Holcombe participates in flower planting. Students participating in the activity were encouraged to use nature as a way to support emotional well-being. “I planted a flower for my uncle, [who] had [his own] garden in his backyard,” Holcombe said. He really liked planting flowers, so I figured [with this flower,] it was a good way to remember [him].”
