Focusing intently, senior Danna Kim writes and designs her letter to her assigned teacher. Each National Honor Society (NHS) member showed their appreciation to a teacher or staff member on campus by writing them a letter. “I think I wrote it to Mr. Lacombe,” Kim said. “I just want to thank him for finding ways to make learning fun. He explains things in a more hyped up way, where I become excited and while he is also excited, there’s that little connection where learning can also connect.”
