Applying gel on the probe for the mannequin’s abdomen, junior Vivian Nie explores how to measure the urine levels in the patient’s body. After being tested on bed-panning skills, Nie decided to explore her interest in the bladder scanner. “Since I had not used a bladder scanner before, I saw it as [an opportunity] to learn a tool that is common in a real clinic,” Nie said. “Using the bladder scanner for the first time felt like a real moment I will experience in my clinicals.”
