Sorting through the chocolate flavors, junior Yusra Shafique sells a chocolate bar for both National Honor Society and Speech and Debate to junior Maha Chaudhry. Students collaborated together during their Chemistry Honors class to complete their ionic compounds worksheet. “I’m very happy to say that my grades are doing very well this quarter and I hope that it stays like that for the rest of my years in school,” Tiangco said. “I’ve been really bad about keeping myself organized and staying on top of things, that I’ve gotten into the habit of doing things last minute, as well as getting distracted very easily. Holding three dances for Covid safety reasons, the first homecoming(s) held on campus were on Friday, October 22 and Saturday, October 23.
Working together juniors Nya Lewis and Rachel Ghelan begin their first project using donated costumes. School board meeting agenda released and highlights future plans.
Students conduct the “fire bubbles” experiment which includes creating a reaction using fire and hydrogen peroxide. They worked together and used their critical thinking skills, along with following directions, to successfully complete the lab.  “I love labs,” Sager said. “I love reacting things because sometimes labs fail and then you have to troubleshoot.”

Working on designing posters, freshmen Brianna Scherschel and Isela Michael sketch out their ideas in pencil. Student Council has been working in committees to prepare for Homecoming on October 22 and 23. “I am really excited that we get to have [a homecoming] just in general,” Scherschel said. “The past year and a half, two years, we haven’t had anything, and this is our first big dance back. New ‘No-Late Work’ Policy Opens Academic Discussion

With quarter one coming to an end, the no-late work policy is causing students to complete their assignments later than the set due date.
Speaking to students, Dental Assisting teacher Kirsten Winfield talks about the rules of working in the lab.
