#1 The Current Count

There are now 532,926 reported cases of COVID-19 worldwide. This number includes 24,093 deaths and 124,387 recoveries. In the United States, there are now 68,440 reported cases, with 994 deaths. In Nevada, there are 420 reported cases with 19 deaths. 

#2 In the United States

As of today, the United States is the country with the most confirmed coronavirus cases. The United States has passed both Italy and China with cases. Although the United States has the most confirmed cases, there have been less COVID-19 related deaths here than numerous other countries. More people have died of COVID-19 related deaths in Italy, Spain, China, Iran and France than in the United States.

#3 In Nevada

The first young adult and first person without underlying health conditions have died COVID-19 related deaths today in Nevada. A man in his 30s with underlying health conditions passed away. Another man in his 60s, without any underlying health conditions, has also passed away.

#4 In Other News

To celebrate Courtney "Coco" Johnson's last chemotherapy session, her neighborhood threw her a "socially distanced parade." Neighbors decorated their cars, made signs and bought balloons for her. They all lined up their cars on the street so Johnson could see them during her ride home from chemo.

#5 If you're bored

Although social distancing may be hard, communicating with friends and family is still key. Video chatting is on option on many phones and their are numerous apps that may allow you to, such as Google Meets.
