Looking over their footage, freshmen and sophomores in Video Production I are practicing filming stories. Students began learning the necessary skills to make content for the morning news show. “I love video production and notice I use a lot of the skills in other classes,” sophomore Ellie Lakatos said. “I’ve done video editing since I was a kid, and I enjoy being able to do it more effectively. It’ll [multimedia] promote bigger growth of the program and students will learn more. Donating an old t-shirt, sophomore Aleyah Hilario adds to her classes donation box. During the week of Mar. 14, Student Council members collected old t-shirts to turn them into dog toys. ”I think it’s nice that they're reusing these old shirts that no one uses to make toys for dogs,” Hilario said. “We should recycle as much as we have instead of just throwing it away and piling up the waste. To prepare them for their future, students learned to make a resume and move through the interview process. “This assignment is preparing me for the real world as it’s the basic structure in getting a job once I’m of age,” freshman Bianca Purio said. “It’s preparing me for what I will soon take on in the future, showing me what to expect and do.”

Political Science students participate in mock trials in order to gain a better understanding of applying and interpreting the Constitution in real life scenarios.
Putting in the solution, senior Rylee Jones studies the measurements in the test tubes.
