There are currently 1,016,413 reported cases around the world, with 245,175 of those cases being in the United States. 53,238 people have died due to coronavirus related deaths, with 6,142 of those being in the United States. In Nevada, there have been 1,279 confirmed cases and 32 deaths.

Due to a lack of blood, the F.D.A. has loosened their restrictions on gay and bisexual men donating blood. Since the 1980s, gay and bisexual men could not donate blood. However, due to the need for blood, the F.D.A. is now encouraging as many people as possible to donate blood, including gay and bisexual men.
