To prepare for the next school year, Filipino Club will review election information for potential board member candidates and details in regards to graduation singers.
“For our next meeting, students should anticipate a mostly informative meeting,” Filipino Club Co-Vice President Nolleen Ramos said. “There will still be an icebreaker and as usual, we will end the meeting with karaoke. After this upcoming meeting, we will have one more at the beginning of May to wrap up the school year.”
With graduation coming soon, the club undergoes the process to select its singers for the national anthem.
“The form for graduation singing has been sent out and will be beginning practices soon,” Ramos said. “The process was fairly simple, we sent out a google form to our club and also asked our members to share it with anyone else who is interested.”

In response to the growing topic of mental health, Psychology Club will be educating its members about mental illness.
“Students should expect to learn about mental illness and participate in an interactive activity focused on the different types of therapies,” Psychology Club Historian Joanna Mengistu said. “This is a way to encourage members to learn more regarding the topic and have a deeper understanding of the topic.”
Psychology club is always open for new members to join in.
“We love our members and would love to grow our Psychology Club family,” Mengistu said. “We think it’s a great idea to join to learn lots of fun things about psychology and to just have a cool place to hang out on Tuesdays.”

To celebrate its seniors, SkillsUSA will be hosting an end-of-the-year celebration.
“Club members can anticipate a laid-back meeting with fun games planned and food to close and chill before the year is all over,” SkillsUSA President Joyce Harveston said. “We will be playing a few games, [there will be] food and also announcing our new officers.”
Coming back from their annual state conference, SkillsUSA members are bringing their experiences to the rest of the club.
“It’s the experience that really matters and I think our members that attended really enjoyed it,” Harveston said. “Now, we have more members that have experienced state to motivate newer ones.
